Air Gumbo’s
strategy is to focus its energy on density of scope,
offering point-to-point service from the State of Louisiana
to a geographical area with a radius of twenty-one
hundred nautical miles from center, New Orleans. (Please
see map.) Air Gumbo will operate from its primary
New Orleans hub as well as its secondary Baton Rouge
and Shreveport hubs.
Air Gumbo will use two types of aircraft to implement
its airline service, the Bombardier family of regional
jets for its domestic and Caribbean service and the
Airbus A330-200/300 for its long haul international
service.
After approved to operate by the U.S. Department
of Transportation, Air Gumbo will offer scheduled
services with next generation, state-of-the art,
web-based reservation and check-in, and integrates
computer and wireless technology with exceptional
design to enhance its value. Air Gumbo will use its "one
frill" cabin
service to differentiate it from other carriers.
By simplifying its fare structure and outsourcing
non-customer contact functions, Air Gumbo will be
able to control costs and maintain its value. |
